Health-Intake Updates/ Prescreening Call
Beginning July 1st, ALL clients will be contacted the day before the appointment as a reminder of the scheduled time, be pre-screened for health intake, and to answer any questions that you may have.
Client Arrival and Intake
Upon arriving at Massage Innovations, please text and remain in your vehicle until notified. Anyone entering the office, must wear a mask. (if you do not have one, please let us know.) We will be taking everyone’s temperature and discussing any health concerns while you sign the questionnaire in the foyer. There will be hand sanitizer available throughout the office.
During the Session
Your Therapist will show you to the room. A zip lock bag will be provided to put all of your belongings instead of hanging or placing your personal items on the door, chair or floor. (It is easiest if there aren’t as many accessory items with. Please make sure that you take off any earrings or necklaces in order to make any ‘neck work’ easily accessible). There is a protocol in place for those that are uncomfortable wearing a mask while laying ‘face down’ on the table, however, while a client is ‘face up’, we ask that the mask be put back on. All Massage Innovations staff will be wearing a mask as well. We have air purifiers in each of the treatment rooms as well.
Post-Session
Please feel free to use the restroom before and/or after your session. Payment and Appointment rescheduling can be done at the front desk. We also have the capability to keep a credit card on file now, so that you can pay easily through our Thryv scheduling system for touchless payment. (You would receive an email or text receipt.)
Room Turnover Sanitation Protocols
Prior to Covid-19, Our team would sanitize surface areas such as the desk, bathroom, etc. We changed sheets and cleaned the rooms in between each client. Your safety and wellness have always been extremely important to us. For peace of mind and general information, we have adjusted and have incorporated several more things that we are doing in order to maintain a clean, safe environment for our clients and staff. If you have any questions or concerns, we would be happy to discuss those and why we are following CDC and FSMTB (Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards) guidelines.
